EURAMI accreditation

FAI  has one of the best air ambulance setups world-wide

The medical staff at FAI Air Ambulance, consisting of specialists, emergency medical technicians, and intensive care personnel, consistently strives to provide patients with the best possible medical care. To achieve this goal, FAI adheres to the principles and guidelines of EURAMI accreditation standards.

EURAMI accreditation standards encompass regularly updated criteria that define the quality level of the air ambulance company concerning skills, medical management, qualifications, aircraft configuration and equipment, operational procedures, communication, quality management, and/or specific requirements for aircraft. These standards are based on legal norms of the European Union, such as EN 13718-2, international expertise, and the experience of leading European air ambulance companies.

The European Aeromedical Institute (EURAMI) is an independent agency that assesses and accredits medical transport services worldwide according to a set of industry-established criteria.

FAI Air Ambulance Eurami Accredited Provider

After its initial accreditation in 2007, FAI Air Ambulance successfully underwent the EURAMI re-accreditation audit in December 2022 for the fifth time. This reaffirms the outstanding quality of FAI’s air ambulance setup, which ranks among the best globally. In December 2023, the accreditation audit for Commercial Airline Medical Escort was successfully conducted and passed at the Dubai location for the first time.
